Velvet Drapery paints the picture of a regal and traditional space while; insulating and blocking out light. Additionally there is the option of mixing light, airy drapes with linen or velvet to create a complex blend of fabrics.

What is the Lighting/Sunlight like that the room receives? Avoid bright drapery colors in rooms with a lot of sunlight because exposure to heavy light can fade the colors. Also, opaque fabric may help block some sunlight and keep the room cooler if that’s a concern. Low natural light rooms are great for sheer drapes to create a soft and cozy feel.
