Casual Luxury Curated in West Palm Beach
This South Florida job just outside West Palm Beach, Florida boasts a light palette with loads of texture & personality. Henck Design transformed a dated beach home into a luxurious retreat for repeat clients to enjoy; surely due to our gold standard of design and concierge level of customer service.
This testimonial from our clients are as follows regarding this Florida project:
“My partner and I have used Henck Design on four projects in three locations. We have very different styles on opposite ends of the design spectrum. In the most creative and stylish fashion, she blended them so both of us felt cozy and energetically represented in our home. We hold her work in such high esteem, that we hired her to redesign our new home in South Florida.
The entire Henck team truly takes care of everything you could need and their communication with you is professional and timely. Working with Christina and her design team was just as easy and convenient in Florida as it was while we lived in Philadelphia. The pieces the Henck team chose for our projects are not only stylish, they are functional and comfortable.
I highly recommend Henck design to take your home to the next level. ”
After working with clients for 10 years in Philadelphia’s tri-state area, our award winning design firm has expanded to not only Florida markets, but those in Tennessee, Colorado, Delaware, and South Carolina.
The design firm, in Philadelphia and Nashville, has signed 3 new national projects and is growing in size and reputation.
At the center of this coastal getaway is the great room with a soaring vaulted ceiling. The color story and textural elements for the entire home’s decor hinge on what we did in this double-height space. The stone fireplace and oversized white European upholstery are in keeping with the home’s lux, bright feel.
The Eastern view from the home’s interior is particularly captivating because of the panoramic views out over the swimming pool and the St. Lucie River. The Roosevelt Bridge connects residential and commercial neighborhoods in the area, and the best use for the space was to furnish it with two large chaise lounges and a small coffee table between them rather than the traditional small side table.
The returning interior design clients needed not only home decor, but also space planning, paint color selections, and finish materials for the vacation home’s cosmetic updates and interior design planning.
The HD team specified and designed custom items that enhance the character of the space. Such as window treatments on the living room and dining room walls. All of these day to day refreshes happened without blocking any of the ocean views, of course.
Other custom items include the floor-to-ceiling coral stone fireplace and the custom dry bar. The built-in bar provides extra storage for glassware, detailed cabinetry with wine storage, and a marble countertop that accommodates counter height seating for five.
Reflective materials like antiqued mirrors, white cerused oak, and other light wood tones are found throughout the entire first floor, adding a casual, comfortable feel to the space.
While every stitch of furniture was kept neutral, Henck layered textures and vintage light blue and green-toned Turkish rugs to maintain a transitional quality and specified only the finest of furnishings and home decor for this A-list client’s interior design project.
The TV room provides a place to rest and retreat from the seasonal heat. The custom denim-colored sectional provides ample seating along with a suede swivel chair, both quite sophisticated while remaining relaxed to maintain the casual atmosphere.
The stone walls in the kitchen with transitional counter material create a balance that integrates the traditional style cream kitchen cabinets. Gray marble countertops modernize the kitchen, adding a soft contrast to the space for open sight lines into the great room.
With the help of Henck Design, this couple’s 4 bedroom, 3 ½ bath home became a one-of-a-kind space that they’re now able to entertain five to six friends and family who visit from the Philadelphia area for years to come.
Henck Design took this home from a kitschy beach-style home to a space that is now lush and upscale. Henck and her team have created a casual yet fashionable style for the young family’s home. Visitors will be impressed by it. The style is perfect for the happy couple.
