A Suburban Bridal Suite Update

Phoenixville, PA

While Henck Design is an interior design firm traditionally known for it’s residential interior design services, the firm also serves as a hospitality design firm. Country club interior design is something we’ve become known for, and salon interior design is something we never saw coming. To create upscale restaurants, golf club renovations, hotel design and other hospitality design projects, we specify commercial level materials for high durability and large scale. Beyond material selections and furnishings, the HD team also specializes in developing color palettes when hospitality projects need a facelift.

For this Chester County, PA golf club’s bridal suite, the HD team decided to reinvent the space with the modern bride in mind. By curating a light, feminine interior design palette, the space is both practical to hold up to RiverCrest’s countless weddings they host annually. A transitional design with luxury furniture that’s durable was a must with this heavily used space for bridal parties to get ready before the big day. The space is often used for professional hair and makeup services along with meals that the bridal party has prior to the wedding ceremony.

In order to create a space that the modern bride can use and enjoy, a salon wall was imperative. Take a look at the before and afters of this space to see the complete transformation. When the HD team arrived on site, it was clear that this room needed to serve multiple functions for not only the bride, but up to 20 young women who require modern HUMA services.

Luxury interior design in a commercial space can sometimes be difficult to achieve. Through our incorporation of brass sconces, light geometric wallpaper, custom carpentry, built-in cabinets, and a series of elegant mirrors that line the wall, we were able to create a salon wall installation.

The modern color palette and transitional decor ties in with the rest of the long-lasting design style of the traditional golf club. The Henck Design team has successfully blended transitional design motifs with an updated color palette to update the golf club’s bridal suite. We removed dark brown and deep red furnishings, brightened up the color palette, and introduced neutral furnishings to update and enhance the reach of the venue's appeal.
