An Urban Corporate Office

Center City, Philadelphia

For this commercial interior design project in Old City, Philadelphia the Henck Design Team outfitted Surety Title to be on brand with black, gold & neutral color palette throughout. We did this by updating the elevator doors with a soft gold film & adding gold to the light fixtures, in the metal on the furniture & black pieces throughout.

In our design approach for this commercial interior design project, we especially focused on the multiple conference rooms and the back of house commercial furniture needed to support the company’s staff.

The existing building design is a high rise, so the architecture was locked in. The commercial interior designers at HD incorporated a mixture of wood tones for the commercial furniture, paint colors to prevent the meeting rooms from becoming stale, and used textures to add interest.

The two conference rooms allow for closed door meetings, great city views, and comfortable commercial seating for staff members. Executive offices for commercial design firms are especially important. Unlike retail design, and hospitality design, when offices are outfitted with furnishings, they need to support people who are in one location all day long. The circulation between meeting rooms and individual offices was especially important to develop. Another consideration was to incorporate frosted glass on interior window walls for privacy.

The main workstation area was updated with commercial wallpaper, updated commercial cove base and high quality office carpet. The neutral color palette in the bullpen area with cubicles has dimension through the use of textures, contrasting colors and great interior lighting.
