RiverCrest Golf Club

Phoenixville, PA

When the Henck Design team first visited RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve in 2019, Christina Henck couldn’t help but appreciate the venue’s incredible potential. During the height of the pandemic, the owners of the club recruited HD to transform the venue’s key spaces for entertaining, hosting weddings and other special events.

The expansive ballroom got a total refresh with new custom carpet and the 200 dining room chairs got a high end vegan leather upgrade.  Custom millwork was painted with a fresh palette to update the space, and like all good hospitality design firms, we incorporated a welcoming color palette.. Two wallpapers were installed above and below the chair rail in the expansive ballroom space and by using custom window treatments, we were able to soften the vast open space’s acoustics as well as visual appeal.

Hospitality interior design requires developing custom broadloom carpets at different scales, addressing lighting design, and utilizing transitional interior design style that appeals to many.  A transitional style for the furniture, area rugs and light fixtures was important to establish a balanced aesthetic to blend with the otherwise traditional country club’s architecture.

Draperies and roman shades line the window wall of the reception area, creating continuity through circulation spaces and gathering areas. The two wallcoverings repeat paint colors and reinforce the color choices in the custom carpets in the event spaces. Luxury interior design is not only for home design.  Quiet luxury can be achieved for commercial interiors as well.

The Henck Design team has successfully blended transitional design motifs with an updated and neutralized color palette to update the golf club’s venue. We removed dark brown and deep red furnishings, brightened up the color palette, and introduced neutral furnishings to update and enhance the reach of the venues appeal.
