Custom Construction at Valley View

What could be better than a recently constructed transitional home? Especially if this custom home is steps away from the Wissahickon trails in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania?

This residence boasts a spacious open floor plan that spans over 5000 square feet across three levels.

What’s better than a home with all the previously mentioned humble brags? One with furnishes such as top-quality furniture, rugs, and lighting from our award-winning interior design team, of course. Our team delivered a combination of the traditional farmhouse style with a contemporary design and neutral furnishings.

The white kitchen and breakfast room repeat gold accents from the adjacent rooms’ design elements, creating a seamless flow. In addition to top-of-the-line appliances, this kitchen has a large island and custom cabinetry. This creates generous counter space, storage, and cooking solutions, allowing for a truly family friendly kitchen.

The black and white color scheme makes room for a higher level of sophistication. The contrasting black on the kitchen island with the black metals of the light fixtures create a dynamic moment. They reflect neutral tones in the breakfast room – leaving tasteful continuity. HD’s signature balance of light textural fabrics with natural wood tones adds elegance to this contemporary decor style.

The casual dining room has a relaxed feel with light wood, modern upholstered dining chairs. As well as gracefully curved fixtures. Henck Design’s approach to interior design is really about relaxed luxury.

This is especially in communal spaces like this one where friends and family will frequently gather. Transitional style home and neutral colors give way to a cohesive interior. Chestnut Hill’s latest and greatest residence honors both modern and classic design.

HD completed the foyer with white oak detailing in both tray ceilings as well as on-door casings to tie other millwork items throughout the home. The happy clients can’t help but appreciate the relaxed luxury aesthetic.

Moving from the foyer into the family room, you’ll discover the dramatic one-of-a-kind custom millwork that unfolds visually. The stunning fireplace echoes the wood tones from the transitional staircase and floor plan. The built-in was designed by the HD interior design team with remarkable detailing and added storage.

The asymmetrical look adds a contemporary interest and dimension to the space, proving that even new construction homes can have character, as long as the interior design is carefully approached.

This home’s interior design and location are amazing based on the walkability to Chestnut Hill shopping, restaurants, schools, and a world-class sports facility. A quick commute to Center City and 90 minutes to Manhattan completes the vision for this fabulous custom home.  The furnishings are light, neutral, and textured, the home is both attractive and the finishes add longevity to the home’s design style.
