Henck Design’s Fabric Row Philadelphia Interior Design Showroom

When Christina Henck, owner of Henck Design, decided she wanted to open up her first furniture showroom in Philadelphia, she knew the perfect location would be Fabric Row. Historically known as Philadelphia’s garment district, Fabric Row, is a neighborhood where a lot of designers frequent & the location has a natural progression for Henck’s brand.

The shop’s aesthetic mirrors the Henck Design style allowing the HD team to give the clients a feel for how the particular mix of styles work together. For this space Christina wanted clients & guests to be able to have a place to see, sit on, touch, & feel the furniture, rugs and lighting. “It allows clients to get an understanding of the quality of products Henck Design provides. The HD showroom not only features top of the line products from our vendors but highlights local Philadelphia artists & makers.”

Clients and those looking to revamp their space can come into the Henck Design showroom to shop styled vignettes. There’s touches of bohemian feeling elements, mixed in with modern and eclectic moments. Some products featured are macrame, woven tapestries, and hand tufted rugs in a variety of patterns and colors.

A selection of chests and nightstands are adjacent to oversized art and antique goods.
Henck hand selected each piece to curate a bright & fun space with products one can use throughout their home.

The living room vignette features two gold bookshelves, a leather sofa, large scale modern art, a natural jute rug & a locally crafted hand made coffee table by artisan Bebe Wynn of South Philadelphia. The gold bookshelves are outfitted with candles, vases, crystals & other home accessories allowing guests to see the multiple style opportunities. The large scale modern art ties in with the color palette giving the space a real wow factor.

A large oak dresser that is hand finished with amazing texture faces onlookers outside on the city sidewalks. Pampas grass was hand picked & shipped from California to tie in the natural look while bringing the outdoors in among other interesting pieces of home decor.

One of Henck’s favorite corners holds two black velvet chairs, a multicolored cowhide rug, ottomans, and customized art pieces. This space is one of Henck Design favorites because of how versatile each piece is. The furnishings throughout the showroom reflect HD’s design aesthetic by blending a host of interior design elements to tell the story of the brand and the variety of looks the design team is capable of creating for clients nationwide.
