Jewel Tone Glamour
This client is a longtime fan of Henck Design’s. After keeping in touch over the years through Henck Design’s social media and social events, this client was very excited to be working with us on this new construction Newtown Square home at the latest development, Liseter. The goals of this design were to create an overall light and airy modern farmhouse feel while remaining a timeless forever home in the Philadelphia suburbs. Right on the edge of several of Philadelphia’s prominent Main Line neighborhoods, this glamorous home is a stylish point of pride for this fashion-forward client.
In the entry, the rotunda foyer adds a welcoming arrival home to the interior design clients. The curved staircase’s traditional architecture adds a classic appeal to the soft modern farmhouse furniture with sophisticated neutral home accessories and decor. With natural elements like fiddle leaf fig trees, cherry blossom bouquets, and a white grass rug, this refreshing palette allows for both neutrals and pops of natural color to bloom in the space. Custom upholstered pink and white chairs maintain the traditional feel of the home with a classic Bushwig Fils print fabric.
The greatest feature of this Suburban home is the warm & relaxed dining room. Henck Design kept this space simple to allow the natural elements to come together. The modern chandelier ties the room together with a fresh glow that adds an ethereal touch to the dining room. “It was important to create a space that feels effortless and sophisticated at the same time” – Christina Henck
The goals in designing the living room were simple: we wanted to keep the space relaxing, while also bright and sophisticated. Vivid Jewel tones give the space an overall glam feeling; white upholstered furniture, oversized gray velvet stools, and a patterned white and gray rug frame the room. The pair of custom deep turquoise armchairs feature Osbourne and Little upholstery fabric alongside ceramic wall art, and home accessories, there’s a level of sophistication required for this interior design’s success.
The adjacent kitchen shares a splash of color with an indigo blue island. Gold pendants over the island add drama to the space and create a polished look. Solid stone backsplash and white cabinets keep this kitchen design light and bright, echoing the fresh overtones for this Newtown Square Interior.
While the living room, dining room, and kitchen kept a neutral palette with pops of color, the master bedroom shone with overall jewel tone and touches of neutral design elements. Luxurious nightstands and oversized dressers add to the glamorous feeling and the dramatic wall color in Benjamin Moore shade Dragonfly brings the impact needed to support the surrounding neutral furnishings. Custom roman shades and a recessed tray ceiling accentuate the dramatic jewel tones of the space, while gold sconces and chandelier keep it warm.
This home’s sunny palette is cheerful and appealing to all who enter. The Newtown Square home just shy of Philadelphia’s Main Line manages to perfectly capture the client’s colorful personality. Our clients have never been happier and the beautiful new construction home is sure to be the envy of the Toll Brothers development at Liseter.
