Midcentury Centric
This midcentury design of a long narrow interior is a challenge to space plan in an appealing way, at first glance. Circulation paths are clear, but right off the bat, furniture placement isn’t. There are several nice “architectural moments” to be had in this light, updated space, like at the landing at the bottom of the staircase and at the transition from dining room to kitchen. Colorful art pieces provide pops of vibrant color to the Fishtown residence while picking up hues from adjacent furniture pieces. Mid-century meets a modern eclectic style here via decor and interior finishes. Bamboo floors keep things casual and clean looking for an approachable city home.
