A Transitional Style Nashville Home

Brentwood, TN

Brentwood, TN is a city known for its rolling hills and upscale homes, and the leading interior design trend is transitional style. With a mostly neutral color palette, We mix rustic decor with modern furniture to create a sophisticated look. By incorporating items like reclaimed wood, leather upholstery and modern art, we achieve a truly Nashville interior design style.

The HD style of interior design brings a sense of quiet luxury for this suburban home near Brentwood Country Club. We often mix classic and modern elements to create spaces that are both comfortable and casual.

From the entry decor to custom window treatments, the style has a soft palette with rich textures and natural materials like wood and stone. This approach creates an inviting atmosphere that is approachable.

High ceilings and large windows in the dining and family rooms allow for great natural light. The oversized kitchen island has a double waterfall edge, and with five brown leather stools, there’s plenty of space to entertain.

In the breakfast room, HD placed a cowhide rug under the dining table to create layers. Casual chairs are perfect for regular family gatherings.

If you’re looking for fireplace ideas, look no further. This wall in the family room combines natural materials like painted board and batten in Dustblu by Sherwin Williams. To elevate the space, a black marble surround and matching mantel sits over the fireplace. Two performance fabric sofas face one another, creating symmetry for the space.

The furniture for the Brentwood home was selected for both comfort and style. It includes neutral area rugs and rustic wood tables, similar to what we used in our Franklin, TN project.

In both Brentwood and the broader Nashville area, there's a trend towards incorporating bespoke elements into the design. Custom cabinetry, canopy bed, and one-of-a-kind home accessories are hallmarks of this personalized approach. These elements along with transitional furniture create exclusive, high-end environments that tailor to the lifestyles and preferences of the residents in Williamson County.
